Abstract

This text presents a personal and philosophical reflection on the evolution of teacher education at the University of Aveiro between 1979 and 2009. The author analyzes three key stages in the educational journey: emotional, critical, and prospective enthusiasm. It highlights challenges, tensions, and proposals to address current educational crises, with an emphasis on transdisciplinarity and pedagogical innovation.
