Abstract

This work uses the Capacitor Switching Method for an unprecedented development aimed at sharing responsibilities for harmonic currents. Software was developed with the aim of enabling power quality analysis, focusing on characterizing the harmonic content of input signals and carrying out harmonic sharing. In this context, a case study is conducted on a simulated electrical system, in order to provide validation of the proposed procedure and also allow critical analyzes of the physical meaning and peculiarities of the processes of attributing responsibilities for harmonic voltages and currents.

Mateus Rosa Machado Júnior, Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Triângulo Mineiro

Mateus Rosa Machado Júnior is graduating in computer engineering and computer graphics technician, both from Instituto Federal do Triângulo Mineiro - Campus Avançado Uberaba Parque Tecnológico. He interned at the company Mosaic - Fertilizers. He is interested in development and process automation.

Andréia Crico dos Santos, Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Triângulo Mineiro

Andréia Crico dos Santos is a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Triângulo Mineiro (IFTM) - Advanced Campus Uberaba Parque Tecnológico, since 2016. She graduated in Electrical Engineering (2013) from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), obtained master's degree (2015) and doctorate (2019), also from UFU. She is interested in electrical power quality and renewable energy sources.
