Description of the development of a study methodology entitled “mountain method” for higher education immunology teaching and learning

This study aims to describe the process of developing the “Mountain Method”, promote its example and offer students a new knowledge acquisition strategy. Thus, the method was applied, based on a chapter in the area of Biological Sciences and Health, which is one of the references for the study of Immunology. In addition, it was necessary to aggregate the advances of Neuroscience, mainly regarding the physiological relationship between brain structures and their contribution to the understanding of the construction of human cognitive development, also using the contribution of Cognitive and Educational Psychology.
