Efeito do exercício de intensidade moderada sobre a biomecânica do tendão de Aquiles em ratos diabéticos

Resumo

O objetivo foi verificar o efeito do exercício de intensidade moderada em esteira sobre os parâmetros biomecânicos do tendão de Aquiles (TA), condicionamento físico, peso corporal e glicemia de ratos Wistar com diabetes mellitus 1. Eles tiveram o condicionamento físico avaliado antes e após seis semanas de exercício de intensidade moderada em esteira. Em seguida, tiveram o TA coletado e seus parâmetros biomecânicos avaliados. A biomecânica do TA de ratos diabéticos não teve alteração após seis semanas da indução e o exercício mostrou-se benéfico no TA de ratos saudáveis, além disso, foi capaz de melhorar o condicionamento físico desses ratos.
