An analysis of marketing related to causes on Ecosia search engine

Cause-related marketing is a strategy used by enterprises to obtain highlight, where the costumer can benefit himself while helping others. This article seeks for analyzing platforms that revert the profits gained by user’s activities in measures that benefit social causes, and also analyze its influence in the customer’s behavior. The paper had its focus on the search mechanism Ecosia, that directs the search’s profits to a sustainable development. The analytical purpose is to understand how the cooperation between company and social cause pushes the customers, opting for methods of platform analysis and references research to have conclusions about the subject.
