Os programas de formação docente são eficazes?

O estudo compara a eficácia dos programas de formação docente longos e curtos diante da escassez de professores. Algumas pesquisas questionam a superioridade dos programas longos, apontando a falta de avaliação de seu impacto e a presença de mitos pedagógicos. Estudos sugerem que programas curtos podem ser tão eficazes quanto, se não mais, com base no desempenho dos alunos. Os autores pedem uma avaliação rigorosa de todos os programas de formação docente e o abandono de equívocos educacionais.
