Abstract

Based on a 3-year mixed method research, this paper presents findings from a broader piece of research aimed at investigating teachers’ perceptions about school culture and leadership experience and their influence on teacher motivation. Data were collected through a questionnaire (n=1334) and focus group (n=99). Findings indicate a positive association between teachers’ motivation and perceived school culture and leadership. Implications for policy and practice are discussed.
